Yes, we deliver your NHS prescription medication for FREE! We've also got other delivery options, which we've simplified below:

NHS Prescription Delivery Options:
- FREE via Royal Mail Tracked delivery takes 1 - 3 working days
- Same Day Tracked delivery (within London's M25) is £2.99*

Private Prescription / Online Doctor Delivery Options:
- Royal Mail Tracked delivery is £1.99 and takes 1-2 working days
- Same Day Tracked delivery (within London's M25) is £2.99*

Our Same Day Tracked delivery slots are between 07:00 and 22:00. Once dispatched, we'll send you a text or email with a 2 hour delivery slot for your convenience. A signature may be required upon delivery, you will be notified of this in the confirmation text or email.

*If prescription/order is received by 13:00 and subject to stock

Yes. We can deliver your medication to your work, home, carer, neighbour or anyone that is a nominated representative. We can also post it through your letterbox, or deliver it to a safe and secure place of your choosing. To nominate a representative or for letterbox delivery consent, please call us on 0208 904 4848.

For most medicines, you don't have to wait at home for your medication to arrive. We can post it through the letterbox, deliver to a neighbour or you can have it delivered to you at work. If a signature is required then Royal Mail will leave a calling card through your letter box with re-delivery / collection options.

Online Doctor

FREE! Consultations are free of charge, you only pay for the cost of the medicine and delivery

Within 24 hours (including weekends and public holidays) but very often it's same day.

We'll send you a text or email when one of our clinicians have reviewed your consultation, requires further information or in some cases where they have been declined due to clinical reasons.

We've got a network of UK clinicians (doctors and pharmacist indpendent prescribers) all of whom have extensive experience and NHS trained. They clinically assess the safety and relevance of all consultations through our Online Doctor Service. All our clinicians are fully registered and insured. 

Payment, Exemptions & Refunds

No you don't. Patients are exempt from the NHS prescription charge (currently £8.80) if they meet any one of the following criteria:

60 or over
Under 16
- 16-18 and in full-time education

- Income Support
- Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
- Pension credit guarantee credit
- Universal credit and meet the criteria outlined by the NHS.

Maternity exemption certificate
- Medical exemption certificate
- NHS Tax Credit Exemption Certificate
- HC2 certificate 
War pension exemption certificate and your prescription is for your accepted disability

- If you have a prescription pre-payment certificate (PPC) which covers all your NHS prescription costs.

Prescribed contraceptives are free

You can use your smart phone to take a picture and email it to or you can post a copy (no originals please) to Medico2u, Unit 7, 11 Main Drive, Wembley, HA9 7NA.

The NHS require us to check this as they undertake regular checks on prescriptions in order to identify fraudulent claims.

Our services are FREE however you still need to pay the NHS prescription charge (currently £8.80) if you don't have an exemptions. Payment can be made using most major debit and credit cards. Payment will be taken when we dispatch your medication.

We can accept cash on delivery for certain items, please contact us on 0208 904 4848 for more information.

Unfortunately not, once medication has been received by you we're unable to accept refunds due to medicine safety reasons

Yes. We'll text or email you approximately two weeks before you’re due to run out of your medicines.

Usually, yes.

Most surgeries will allow a pharmacy to order on behalf of a patient whilst a few will not. If your surgery permits, we'd be more than happy to order on your behalf. If not, then all is not lost; just tick the items you require, pop in the repeat slip to your GP surgery and we'll do the rest. Call 0208 904 4848 for more information.

Yes. Your medical information and order history is completely confidential and only accessible by our pharmacy staff or your doctors and when dispatching your medicine we use discreet packaging without any branding or labels.

Yes it is. Medico2u is fully registered, regulated and certified as an internet pharmacy with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). For further information or to view our registration details, you may visit the General Pharmaceutical Council website . We are also authorised by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to sell medicines online through our website

Yes, if you have unwanted medicines you can return these to us, for free. Please call 0208 904 4848 to get this booked in.

Absolutely. We're fully regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), and have contracts with major reputable UK wholesalers and distributors. The integrity and safety of your medication is our priority so you can rest assured knowing we use genuine medication approved by the  Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

Yes. The NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) allows you to choose where your GP sends your prescription at any time, making it more convenient for you.

Yes we can. Register HERE and then post the original to us. Once we've received the original prescription we'll deliver.

Yes, if you have unwanted medication you can return these to us for safe destruction.

Under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 you have the right to enquire about any personal information we may hold about you as an organisation. This is known as a Data Subject Access Request (a Data Subject is an individual who is the subject of personal data).

If you wish to raise a request in the first instance, please call us on 0208 904 4848. We will then email you a copy of the form which you need to complete and return. We are obliged to respond to your request within one calendar month.

Medico2u don't store payment details. These are securely stored by Braintree which is owned by PayPal and is PCI compliant

All major credit/debit cards including American Express. We also accept ApplePay.
